Vrelo zvuka continues with its program 'New Croatian ethno scene' in which they present some new interesting local performers who play traditional music or draw inspiration from it, and on this occasion the group Pisan Jelen is coming to Močvara for the first time. Although inexperienced with group experience, this group can hardly be called as beginners on the stage because its members have played in various other bands (Sol3, Fragment, The Six Moonshiners, Second Breakfast ...), and in Pisan Jelen they gathered with desire to do something different from what they had been doing until then. And they succeeded in that. Pisan Jelen is a rock ethno band from Zagreb that processes Slavic traditional music, giving it a new look with original melodies and rhythms with mostly authentic vocal melodies. The vocal line is intertwined with the fiercer instrumental sound of rock, creating a new atmosphere and a story of past times. The band was founded in 2018 by Branka Horvat. Several members passed through the band, and the current sound and style was created only in 2020 with the final formation of the line-up. Although this is the group's first performance, Pisan Jelen rehearsed diligently before going public, so he will immediately offer us an 'all-night concert', a full concert repertoire. Pisan Jelen consists of: Neven Nikolic (drums) Darko Demsic Rudi (bass) Luka Kovač (guitar) Marko Krstanovic (guitar) Branka Horvat (vocals).
Vrelo zvuka is Močvara's project dedicated to the promotion of ethno / world music / traditional music, which takes place under the artistic direction of Emir Fulurija.
