Another week of pure energy, joy, relaxation and good vibes has finished. This year's edition of MetalDays proved once again how beautiful and powerful at the same time a metal Festival can be.

The line-up was strong, the crowd was big and energetic, the location as always gives a touch of nature, peace and relaxed state of mind and there was almost no rain at all. Everything was in order and once again the most difficult part was saying goodbye to one more edition of MetalDays.

Now we can just count days until the next edition and from time to time look at all the memories we had made at previous editions. Which makes everything a lot easier.

The crowd had an oppurtunity to watch a lot of bands:

Judas Priest, Accept, Hatebreed, Alestorm, Cannibal Corpse, Epica, Loudness, Coroner, Municipal Waste, Ensiferum, Primordial, Watain, Hate, Rage, Jinjer, Goatwhore, Belphagor, Behemoth, Children of Bodom, Eluveitie, Metal Allegiance, Sisters of Suffocation, Kataklysm, Soulfly, Leprous, Tesseract, Monument, Asomvel, Igorrr, Black Star Riders, Obituary, Tremonti, Cold Snap, Sorcerer, Myrkur, Battle Beast, Mantar, Sinistro... + a lot more.

Some of the biggest highlights from the Festival were definitely the concert of the legends - Judas Priest, the MD weddings held on Friday at the beach and some relatively new names on the music scene which completely blew away the audience and the stage, for example Alien Weaponry, a young band from new Zealand. The boys are from another planet when it comes to their performance, the music and the lyrics of the songs.

Few moments from Alien Weaponry concert @ Metaldays.......

Hatebreed gave and amazingly energetic performance. on Thursday, before Judas Priest. It was indeed an explosion of energy and emotions and a good preparation for what was about to come. A truly great concert with a lot of fans who both were jumping along with Jamey Jasta and at the same time waiting for Judas Priest.

Judas Priest was a dream come through for a lot of people in the audience and that is something which could be seen on many faces during the concert. The concert was held on Thursday, 26th of July, the band was energetic, positive, the performance was powerful and strong and the feedback was amazing. Years and years of music, tradition and history came from that stage. That along with amazing audience full of fans created a feeling of pure synergy and mix of honest emotions. Hearing Rob Halford's voice live and having an opportunity to see them on MD stage is truly something worth remembering.

The Festival was 'closed' with Children of Bodom at the main stage & Primordial at the 2nd stage. There were a lot of people of both concerts and it was a really great end to an already great Festival.

A lot of people stayed in Tolmin and enjoyed in summer vibes @ Soča & Tolminka and their surroundings until the end of the weekend.

MetalDays is truly a pure vacation for most people. It is a week of great music, beautiful nature and amazing atmosphere. Mountains, rivers, woods, concerts, food, drinks and hangouts- what else does a person need?

Thank you MetalDays and see you next year!
